Welcome to Hello, Hamilton!
I was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario and continue to live in the
East End. I have always been proud to
call Hamilton home, but constantly feel the need to justify my love for the
city. Sure, Hamilton – otherwise affectionately
called “the Hammer” or “Steeltown” by its residents – has been described with
some less-than-choice words. It’s an
industrial town admittedly, but beyond the grit and grime lies an opportunity
to discover all the beautiful places, people and things Hamilton has to
offer…if you look for them!
Having lived in Hamilton all my life, you'd think I'd know everything there is to know about the goings-on of this city...but I am by no means an expert. I am going along for the ride, rediscovering my hometown and hoping that you'll join me. So give Hamilton a shot, give this blog a read, and explore
